In this book, Sandra Binder-Tietz presents a comprehensive analysis of the communication of supervisory board chairs of listed companies. Their complex communicative role is systematically explored for the first time.
The complex communication requirements of relevant stakeholders such as investors, shareholder protectors, voting rights advisors, and journalists are highlighted from an external perspective.
From the internal perspective of supervisory board chairs, investor relations, and public relations officers, this book identifies the internal and external communication measures of supervisory board chairs. On this basis, the need for how and why communication should become an integral part of corporate communication management is justified.
Implications and recommendations as to what successful communication by supervisory board chairs might look like are developed for both research and practice.
